Sustainable Electronic Waste Disposal
CM Environmental helps corporations meet environmental and regulatory requirements for sustainable electronic waste disposal. Our recycling experts handle all types of electronic waste including laptops, computer hard drives, telecommunications equipment, circuit boards, smartphones, and networking equipment. Our i-SIGMA and NAID AAA-certified staff provides periodic or on-call pick-up services and issues a Certificate of Recycling. This certificate provides proof that a company’s e-waste management complies with state and federal regulations. We help companies of all sizes fulfill their duty to lawfully, responsibly, and sustainably dispose of electronic waste.
Appliance Recycling Services
In addition to expertly handling electronic waste, CM Environmental facilitates the recycling of appliances. Many appliances shouldn’t be put in the trash because they contain hazardous materials that pollute the soil and groundwater. For the same reason, old and unusable appliances don’t belong in the ditch, either. They’re an environmental hazard and an eyesore. Instead, appliances should be repurposed or recycled into other products.
‘Anything with a Cord’ Drop-Off Program
CM Environmental launched its “Anything with a Cord” recycling program in 2026 to keep appliances out of the landfills. We partner with Upper Michigan municipalities who operate “Anything with a Cord” drop-off locations. These municipal drop-off centers accept large appliances like stoves, refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, clothes washers and dryers. The “Anything with a Cord” recycling program also accepts small appliances like toasters, coffee makers, indoor grills and blenders. If it has a cord, we will accept it and responsibly recycle it. (Recycling fees may apply.)
